Wandering is core to our ethos here at Autodidact. It's been said before and bears repeating, that we share great reverence for brewers who truly let their passion guide their steps and quite literally go where their minds drift. Stjepan is just that. A storied past throughout the industry, and ultimately heading out on his own. His nomad project, Cultural Wasteland, immediately caught our eye.
When chance would have our paths cross, we spoke of passion for ingredients we rarely revisit. Nostalgic influences from our past like crystalized stone that form the tempered foundations deep below our feet. Perhaps we should turn to them again? Maybe a small spark could ignite a new fire...

A grist honed to bring focus to Rye, and hopped with some of our favorites, both old and new. Cascade, Simcoe, Krush Lupocore, and New Zealand Cascade. Notes of fresh pine needles, bright citrus, fresh raspberry jam, and a touch of rye spice.
